Stayed with Wade and Carol Covill last night and a big surprise as we got there. They were expecting this other visiting family on Wednesday but they came last night. However, a good time was had by all and everyone got along famously. Then we took off for Glacier National Park and found my old bus (I drove it in 1974) in the Lake McDonald parking lot. Cousin Dave Palmquist drove the same bus in 1972. He recommended it to me as well as pointers on how to maintain "Jammer" traditions. Oh to be young again doing one's best to maintain traditions.

Made it home fine and need to give a big thanks to Iris Bouvet as she took care of the truck and picked us up from the airport. Also great to see husband Dominic as he was home from flying all over the world for Delta.

Went to Kodachrome State Park yesterday and then visited Grosvenor Arch a few miles south of the park. Both are associated with the National Geographic Society and kinda full circle for me as I taught in the house that Gilbert Grosvenor was born in in Istanbul, Turkey. Then Zion National Park
