Reed performed the last two nights at the Amelia Island Community Theater. A cute little theater up in Fernandina Beach. They sold out both nights and Reed said he had a great time performing his 4-5 songs for the annual Crescendo Amelia Christmas Show.

Crescendo Amelia has a couple of Christmas shows Tuesday and Wednesday. They had a kinda dress rehearsal tonight.

OK so Reed had a gig Downtown at Hemming Park for a city Christmas party. It went well and I'll put one song below and some others on YouTube. Note the lady who's singing along with Reed.--------Great story though as after I had dropped Reed and was coming back from parking, I saw this older lady having trouble moving herself and her bags. Seems she was 94 years old, evidently traveling here from Alaska, wanted to go up to the bus station so she could get a bus over to the SDA church. There she expected to be helped as she was SDA. I helped her up to the Rosa Parks Terminal which was just 3 blocks away and handed her off to a policeman and a bus supervisor. Hope I'm that game at 94.

Frank Basile, who runs Crescendo Amilia, has got the band putting together a Christmas album of ten songs with Reed featured on about half of them. Last night I went up with Reed to Frank's house/studio where he put his tracks down. I told Frank he could include the incomparable White Christmas Blues, which I wrote, and that Reed did back when he was 14. He politely demurred.
