So Reed and I took off yesterday a bit late as he got in from his basketball party at 3:30am. Made it on the road by 11. Virginia Beach by 3 where it was cold and rainy but lots of kids around. Toured the beach area just a bit and then went to look for a motel. Prices were high nearer the beach as this is their College Beach Weekend. We did manage to find one reasonably priced a few miles away in Hampton. On the way we managed to find the Nauticus Naval Museum and the biggest ship I'd ever seen not including air craft carriers-- The USS Wisconsin. Looks like that's our destination today.
